ADAMS - Phyllis "Nana" Adams, 62, passed away Friday evening, December 31, 2010 at her Yulee residence. She was born June 16, 1948 in Johnston County, NC and moved to the Chester area of Yulee in 1996 from Callahan, FL.

She was a member of Celebration Assembly of God in Yulee and previously a member of Jesus is Lord Cathedral (now Light House Prayer Center). Mrs. Adams served as church secretary and bookkeeper, pianist, youth leader, Sunday school teacher and nursery worker.

She was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Jessie Woodruff, and by a daughter, Tammy Denise Woodruff.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Adams of Yulee, FL; two sons, Michael David Adams (Carolyn) of Yulee and Daniel Adams, also of Yulee; a daughter, Sara Denise Winkle (Chris) of St. Marys, GA; a brother, J. P. Woodruff (Alice) of North Carolina; two sisters, Vickie Hicks (Danny) and Sherry Sternberg, all of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; special friends, Kathy Pike, Kathy Ashley, Mary Ray, Uncle Jimmy Hales, Donnie Flowers, Davy Edwards, and numerous other relatives and special friends.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. John White officiating. Interment will follow in the family burial estate at Green Pine Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
