BARCO - Mrs. Ida Williams Poyner, 88, died in Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City Tuesday night, Jan. 8, 1981. She was a native of Buxton and resided in Barco most of her life and a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Urias Blount. and Mrs. Sainty Stowe Williams and the widow of the late Will Nelson Poyner.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Grace P. Haysleet of Virginia Beach; three sons: Eugene Poyner, Urias "Pinkie" Poyner, and Luis Poyner of Barco; three sisters: Mrs. Maria Gray of Buxton, Mrs. Patsy Herbert of Rodanthe and Mrs. Irma Willis of Barco; a brother, Victor Williams of Largo, FL; and 13 grandchildren.
