Andreas, Theodore 69 of Fremont, passed away Friday at his home. He was born on December 12, 1930 in Oceana County to Clarence and Eva (Graham) Andreas and had attended the Sayles and Condon schools. He worked at the Gerber Products Company for many years until his retirement in January 1987. Ted was a 21-year Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era and was a member of the White Lake V.F.W Post #3256 in Montague, Fleet Reserve Association, and National Riffle Association. He is survived by his children, Cathy (Roger) Knapp of Sparta; Theodore Andreas of Killeen, Texas; step daughter, Diane Boyd of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 5 grand children; 5 step grand children; former wife Dorla Bowers of Hart; sister Betty (Ivan) Fessenden of Ferry; brothers, Russell (Loretta) Andreas of Holton; Herman Andreas of Fremont; Clarence Andreas of Lakewood; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Martin, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 11, 2000 at Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with Rev. Glen Hinterman of the Ferry Wesleyan Church presiding with military graveside services being conducted at the South Ferry Cemetery by the White Lake V.F.W. Post #3256.
