Possibly Private Albert Marden was enumerated, at age 2 years, November 7, 1850, at Laurel, Franklin County, Indiana, with John Harden 26, Eliza Harden 26, Allis Harden 5.

Albert Harden enrolled at Placerville, California, October 20 and was mustered in as Private of Captain Thomas Jefferson Heninger’s Company G, 7th California Infantry, October 30, 1864. At enlistment he was described aa age 16 years 6 months, that he was born at Indianapolis, Indiana, and that his occupation was a Waiter. Private Harden died of disease in the Post Hospital at Fort Mason, Arizona Territory, December 11, 1865. His grave is not marked.
