Claude Green, 87, retired farmer, died Tuesday at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Services will be at noon Friday at Independent-Tyro Missionary Baptist Church in Tyro with burial in the church cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Green, the widower of Lillie Ann Collins Green, leaves eight daughters, Shirley Jones and Juanita White, both of Memphis, Joyce Lindsey and Samantha Green, both of Senatobia, Genell Clegg of Shreveport, Grafti Deborah McDaniel of Jackson, and Gwen Snow and Leslie Perry, both of Okalona; two sons, Van Louis Green of Memphis and Claude Green Jr. of Senatobia, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
