George F. Dodd, Beech Analyst, Dies at Home: George F. Dodd, 40, of 3312 S. Washington (Wichita, Kansas), died Sunday (16 September 1956) at his home.
Born September 16, 1916, in Greenfield, Missouri, Mr. Dodd came to Wichita in 1951 from his home town. He was a production analyst, employed by Beech Aircraft Co., in the shop planning division.
A U.S. Air Force sergeant in World War II, he was a member to the Mount Olive First Christian Church in Greenfield, and Garrett Lodge, No. 359.
Mr. Dodd married the former Harriet M. Harper on October 23 1937 in Greenfield. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Darrell Eugene, and Joe Wesley, both of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley E. Dodd, Greenfield, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Faye Wilson, Lockwood, Missouri, and Mrs. Barbara Carmean, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Keet E. Dodd, 2607 E. Orchard, Wichita, Kansas.
Friends may call at Broadway Mortuary until Monday evening. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (19 September) at Mt. Olive Church in Greenfield, Missouri. Canada Funeral Home, Greenfield, is in charge of arrangements.
