BAXTER – Funeral services for Flora Jean Maxwell, 65, of Baxter will be held Thurs., May 2, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellow Cemetery.
Mrs. Maxwell died today, April 30, 1996, in Cookeville General Hospital.
She was born in Nashville on Spet. 13, 1930, to the late Harrison P. and Flora P. Chaffin Allen.
Mrs. Maxwell was a retired nurse with Cookeville General Hospital and a member of the Church of Christ.
Her family includes three sons, Ronnie Eugene, Richard Allen, and Terry Lynn Maxwell, all of Baxter; one daughter, Donna Williams of Baxter; one brother, Bobby Hugh Allen of Baxter; three sisters, Marie Carrol of Little Rock, AR, and Gladys Willene Maxwell and Margie Shanks, both of Baxter; nine grandchildren, Mark, Misti, Tyler and Adam Maxwell, Brett and Bryan Williams, Jennifer Dilldine, and Kim and Desiree Burden; and one greatgrandchild, Dakota Scott Dilldine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Estle Eugene Maxwell; one sister, Bonnie Ruth Martin; and two brothers, Fred P. and Johnnie Ray Allen.
