Mrs. Maude GROGG, 89, 337 Birchwood court, Wabash, died at 1:26 p.m. Tuesday in the Wabash county hospital at Wabash.
A native of Athens, she was born Jan. 25, 1890 to Jacob and Emma STOFER HARMON and had lived in the Gilead and Akron areas. She was married May 22, 1909 in Akron to Charles M. GROGG, who preceded in death. She was a member of the Akron Church of God.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Roswell (Meleese) MILLER, Wabash; four sons, Elton GROGG, of Eugene, Ore.; Paul GROGG, North Manchester; Floyd GROGG, Indianapolis, and Merl GROGG, Wabash; two brothers, Ray HARMON, Elkhart, and Russell HARMOND, Hardy, Ark; fourteen greandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Sheetz funeral home at Akron with the Rev. Phillip CRUBAUGH officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.
