Annie Viola Moore, 100, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, January 07, 2011 at her home.

She was born August 2, 1910 in Rash, Ala., to the late Felix Lee and Celie Ashley.

Mrs. Moore was of the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, the Rev. I.H. Moore; daughter, Mina Carlisle; grandson, Marty Murray; siblings, Eugene Ashley, Jim Ashley, Odessa Davis, Ruby Bohannon, and Mary Lee Moore.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Peggy) Moore of Red Bank; daughters, Jean Murray of Chattanooga and Patricia (Ed) Woods of Hope Mills, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 9, at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Dr. David Harr officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Jan. 8, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
