Anna Bengtson Partin, 83, passed away July 14, 2004, in a Chesapeake health care center. She was retired after 21 years of service as an accounting technician at the Norfolk Naval Supply Center. Born in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Blanche Elizabeth Tucker Bengtson and John L. Bengtson and the widow of Troy C. Partin. Mrs. Partin was a graduate of Radford College and a longtime member of Larchmont Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Partin LeTellier of Coos Bay, Ore.; two sons, Alan S. Partin of Richmond, Va., and John T. Partin of Norfolk; a sister, Nelda B. Masters of Newport News; a half-sister, Charlotte Apperson of Norfolk; and a granddaughter, Alison H. Partin of Richmond.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Cox Funeral Home by the Rev. John C. Dean. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. for visitation. Memorial contributions can be made to the Odyssey Hospice, 130 Business Park Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
