Melvin William Schwarzlose, 48,
lifelong resident of the Calhoun
area, passed away Friday.
He was born in Edwards county
April 10, 1915, and was a member
of the Parkersburg EUB church.

He is survived by his former
wife, Irene Rodgers; three chil-
dren, Kay Ann Robinson of Port-
land, Ore., Robert William
Schwarzlose and William Lee
Schwarzlose, both of Geff.
Also two brothers, Nelson of
Indiana and Emmitt of Parkers-
burg; and two sister., Mrs. Aud-
rey Patterson of Marshall, Ark.
and Mrs. Ada Compton of Albion,
Services will be held at l:30
p.m. Sunday in the Memorial
Chapel of the Summers-Rainey
Funeral Home, with burial in
Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral-
home after 7 p.m. today.
