EDNA "KATHRYN" HARMEYER, 69, of Fort Wayne died Wednesday in Lutheran Hospital. The Noble County native formerly worked in the gift shop of the Marriott Hotel, was a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and its ladies guild.

Surviving are her husband, Louis; daughters, Elaine Ahrens and Janet Doner, both of Fort Wayne, and Rosalie Welch of South Burlington, Vt.; sons, Darwin, Barry and Craig, all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Athena Grothaus of South Bend and Delight LaBarbera of Fort Wayne; brothers, George Easterday and Keith Easterday, both of Columbia City; and 11 grandchildren.

Services are 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in the church, with burial in the church cemetery. Calling is 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today in Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow in the church. Preferred memorials are gifts to the church building fund.
