Leonard A Pieprzyca lived on a farm with his wife Margaret Dugi Pieprzyca. Both of their families were Polish and they lived in the "Oldest Polish Settlement in Texas" Panna Maria. Each weekend the locals would get together and have dances where polka music was played and the young people would get together and dance. Leonard played the accordion and soon he and Maggie fell in love and were married. They had 5 children 4 are listed as follows:
