I have been researching this family for some time, if you are related, I'd love to hear from you.

Eliab Karr married Margaret Rebecca Binkly, daughter of John Binkley and Mary Eva Fisher Binkley, 13 July 1845, Perry County, Ohio. Eliab's father, the Rev. William Kerr performed the ceremony. Eliab's mother, Susan Griffin was the mother of four sons and one daughter, Eliza Ann (Karr) Humberger.

Eliab enlisted as a Private on 15 September 1864 at the age of 43. Enlisted in Company A, 177th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 23 Sep 1864. Mustered Out Company A, 177th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 24 Jun 1865 at Greensboro, NC.

Eliab was killed in a railroad accident in 1876. Am not certain of any details nor certain where he was buried.
