Mrs. Herminne Henzler Bauknecht well known resident of Crawford Heights, Bridgeport, died at the family home this morning at 8:45 o'clock. She had been ailing for two years and was bedfast two months.
Deceased was a native of Germany, coming to the United States 44 years ago. She was married to Frederick Bauknecht, June 21, 1891, and had resided at Crawford Heights since.
Her husband passed away July 22, 1926, and a brother, Chris Henzler died Dec. 15, 1925.(I think this should read "and a son, Chris Bauknecht died Nov.16, 1925"). Bereaved are these children: John, Martins Ferry; Mrs. Anna Bluthardt and Mrs. Freda Roberts, Crawford Heights, and Albert, at home. Also surviving are 19 grand-children. She was a life member of the St. Paul's Lutheran church.
Remains were taken to the Grafton-Bauknecht-Mellott mortuary in Bellaire and will be returned to the last residence Saturday. Burial will be made in Weeks cemetery.
