I came out here to Swede Prairie, Yellow Medicine County, in the spring of 1877 in a covered wagon with my sister and husband. I was confirmed by Rev. B.F. Bengtson in the Swede Home Congregation the 4th of November, 1888." Mrs. Anderson was united in marriage to Joseph A. Anderson, the 12th of December, 1898. "Five children were born to us: Thora E., Lille E., Adolph B., Melvin C., and Albin B." "Adolph passed away when he was three years old. I have lived in Swede Prairie all my life. I had two sisters and two brothers."
