Mr. Ball was a native of Richmond, Ky., and had been a resident of Long Beach for 45 years. He was an Air Force veteran of 10 years and served in the Korean conflict. He also served a year in the Merchant Marine. Mr. Ball was a founding member and lifetime Elder of the Bible Fellowship Church in Pass Christian. He was President of Poupart & Ball Contractors and Ball Pool Service in Long Beach for 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles W. Ball and Nona Henderson Ball.
Services will be conducted today, January 17, 2000, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Riemann Funeral Home in Long Beach, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Ball's memory to the Bible Fellowship Church Mission's Fund, 7030 Menge Ave., Pass Christian, MS 39571.
