William F. was the first born son of Elijah and Cecelia Flagg of Battle Creek. Like 2 of his younger siblings, Frank and Ben, he was boilermaker. He died of Tuberculosis and was the first of his siblings to die. He was single and Catholic. His funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Philips. He is buried next to his 2 of his brothers, a sister, his mother and a brother-in-law in a grave yet unmarked as of 2011.
