NAPLES (Special)--Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Laura Olsen were held in the Naples Ward House at 11 o'clock Wednesday of last week. The singing was furnished by a double mixed quartet, composed by Mr. and Mrs. Jacob N. Lybbert, Frank Goodrich, Lynn Goodrich, Lela Goodrich, Ella Goodrich, A. G. Goodrich and Ina Chivers singing, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives". Prayer Mark Cook, song "The Lord is My Shepherd."
Bishop Byron Goodrich was the first speaker. Reading composed by Miss Lela Goodrich was given. Fuller Remington was the next speaker. The quartet sang, Viola's favorite song "Guide Me to Thee". President H. B. Calder spoke and the quartet then sang "Lead Me Gentley Home". Benediction was given by E. J. Longhurst. President A. G. Goodrich dedicated the grave. Mrs. Viola Olsen has practically been an invalid for eight years. She was born June 2, 1910 the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Evans, her father died many years ago.
She was a faithful worker in the church being Sunday School teacher and secretary in the Primary organization.
Her death was caused from sugar diabetes and dropsy.
She was married to Wilford Olsen in the Salt Lake Temple, June 3, 1929. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Laura Evans and one brother, Ashel.
