Mrs. Gertie Agnes Hale, 79, was buried in Spur Cemetery following funeral services Monday in the First Christian Church. Rev. John Floyd, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1947. She came to Dickens county in 1896 and had moved to Spur in 1919.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Tom King, Matador and a half brother, Gordon Hodges, Argentina; a niece, Mrs. Tom Speer, Flomont.
Pallbearers were Carter Robinson, Henry Robinson, Coy McMahan, Dick Sampson, Walter Jimison, Callie Ramsey.
