Mrs. Opal Louise Adams, 73 of Hamburg, AR, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Adams was a lifelong resident of Ashley County, a former employee of Hamburg Shirt Factory, and a member of South Main Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Lee Adams, one son, Lindsay Adams, her parents: Jessie Allen & Eva Scott Jones, one brother, Paul Allen Jones and one sister, Pauline Jones.
She is survived by three sons: Lee Jr., wife Ann Adams of Monticello, AR, Jackie Adams of Cedar Creek, MO & Bob, wife Christie Adams of Hamburg, AR, one daughter, Julia Ann Copeland of Hamburg, AR, two brothers, Leon Jones of Florida, Mack Jones of Missouri, two sisters, Helen Myers and Jane Brixey of Ferriday, LA, nine grandchildren, two step-grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are Monday, March 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Pullin, officiating. Remains were cremated.
