The Oklahoman, Sat, Aug 3, 1963: Mrs Lucille Viola James, 58, of 620 NW 45 died Friday in Wesley Hospital. Services will be at 2 pm Monday at Guardian Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs James was born in Enid and came to Oklahoma City in 1927. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was employed by the police department for 21 years. Survivors include her husband, W. R.; one sister, Mrs Thelma Day, OKC; one brother, Robert Nichols, Santa Maria CA; and her father, E C Bailey, Ponca City.
