George Honaker, 68, died at his home, 228 N. West St., Tuesday at 6:15 a.m. In failing health several years, suffering from complications, his condition had been serious two months.
Born in Sharpsburg, KY., June 13, 1876, he moved to Xenia in 1913. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Freeland Honaker, whom he married October 16, 1900; four daughters, Mrs. Leona Graham, New Burlington; Mrs. Minnie Haines, Marion, O.; Mrs. Nellie Comford, Xenia, and Mrs. Blanche Lynch, at home; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters. A daughter, Mrs. Annabelle McMillan died October 5 and a son, Vernon, died January 28, 1934.
He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, this city, where services will be conducted by Rev. M. E. Clay Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Neeld Funeral Home Wednesday from 3 to 5 of 7 to 9 p.m.
