Wayne Eugene Morris, age 81, of Palestine, Texas died December 29, 2010, at his residence. Burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart, Texas is under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home. He was born December 7, 1929, in Elkhart to the late Peter Albon and Lala Boyer Morris. He had lived in Anderson County all his life and was a Methodist. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Morris; daughters, Judy Burroughs and husband Reb, and Jennifer Chavers and husband Graham; sisters, Marie Dean, and Willie Mae Berryhill; and grandchildren, Robert Wayne Burroughs, Michael Morris Burroughs and wife Mackenzie, Ryan Matthew Chavers, and Kaylan Marie Chavers.
