Services for Peter A. Morris, 94, of Route 2, Elkhart, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Curtis A. Grissett and Bobbie Weber officiating. Burial well be at Garden of Memories in Elkhart.

Mr. Morris died Wednesday at Trinity Valley Medical Center.

He was born in Houston County on Sept. 26, 1893, a son of William Zeno and Sophia Bridges Morris. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elkhart and a retired employee of Glass Containers Corp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Boyer Morris, in 1984.

Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. James (Marie) Dean of Palestine and Mrs. Carlton (Willie Mae) Berryhill of Elkhart; son, Wayne Morris of Palestine; sister, Adele Long of Elkhart; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Charles Berryhill, Reb Burroughs, John Paul Riley, Jimmy Quick, Jimmy Martin and Pon Fincher.
