Louise Young, 87, of rural Roodhouse died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. She was born Jan. 12, 1914, in Winchester, the daughter of Jesse R. and Margaret M. Hoots Templin. She married James F. Young in 1934 in Scott County; he preceded her in death in 2000. Also preceding her in death was a son, Charles Young. Mrs. Young was a homemaker and a member of Athensville Baptist Church. Survivors: three daughters, Margaret McDade of Winchester, Marjorie Reynolds of Macon and Mary Morrell of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister Margaret Sutzer of Springfield. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial: Winchester City Cemetery.
