Miss Vernie Carbaugh, of Clear Spring, Route One, died suddenly Saturday evening, aged 63 years.
She was the daughter of John H. Carbaugh, of Clear Spring and the late Ida May Clopper Carbaugh. She was a member of the Blair's Valley Church of God and lived all her life in this section.
She is survived by her father, John H. Carbaugh; sister Olive B. Hull, Clear Spring; brothers, Russell T., Tilghmanton; John K. and Jacob M. both of Clear Spring; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Blair's Valley Church of God Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Easterday officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Burial in the Blair's Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rowland Funeral Home, Clear Spring, this evening from 7 to 9.
