Bernie was employed as an ironworker who worked out of Union Hall #393. He was an avid fisherman who had a great love for the outdoors. He was learning the game of golf with his family and his friends.
He is survived by his father, Bernie Conley, Jr., of Hinckley, Illinois; his mother, Mary (Craig) Schilke, of Orlando, FL; his two children, Kala Conley and Bernie Conley, IV, of Fountain Hills, AZ; his two sisters, Carrie Marie Conley of FL and Bernadine Nicodemus of Syracuse, IN; his brother, Jack Allan Conley of Syracuse, IN; his step-brother and sisters, Katherine (David) Muncy of Jackson, TN, Michael (Lynda) Dobbs of Bristol, IL, Cynthia (John) Hutchinson of Aurora, IL, Judith (Bobby) Brooks of Jackson, TN and Rebecca Dobbs of Aurora, IL; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, who will miss him dearly.

Funeral Services for Mr. Conley will be at 10 am on Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home, in Hinckley, IL. Interment will follow in the West Big Rock Cemetery, in Big Rock, IL.
