Husband of Laura C. "Chris" McFadden. Edgar "Lefty" McFadden was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was the son of Edward Edgar McFadden and Sallie Lena (Cox) McFadden Wallace. His obituary in the "Vandalia Drummer News," March 31, 2004, lists his occupations as "former baseball player, sporting goods salesman, broadcaster, sports writer, auto racing promoter and general manager of the original Dayton Gems hockey team in the 1960's." He was also named Minor League Hockey Executive of the Year in 1970.
