She was born in Erwin, Tenn. on Aug. 6, 1926, to the late John W. and Pearl Cole Arrowood.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband William C. Weaver and sister, Betty Adams.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda Weaver Dean and husband Johnny of Gastonia, brother, Charles Arrowood and wife Betty of Charlotte, two grandchildren Christina Dean and Amber Dean.
She was a member of Flint Groves Baptist Church in Gastonia. She loved the Deaf Class of Flint Groves Baptist Church of which she was a member.
A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flint Groves Baptist Church with the Revs. Ronnie Bowers, Charles Arrowood and Leroy Adams officiating.
Pallbearers were Johnny Weaver, Neil Preston, David Payseur, Bo Rhyne, Chris Howell and Keith Dellinger.
A visitation was held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel.
Interment was rested after the service at Smyrna Cemetery in Bessemer City.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Gaston Memorial Hospital, 6 North for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Weaver. We would also like to thank the Belmont and Gastonia Adult Daycare for their role in the care of Mrs. Weaver. Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel assisted the Weaver family.
