A former Corydon lady, Mrs. Marie Adams, 70, of Chariton passed away at a hospital at Knoxville late Monday night, March 25, following a week's hospitalization.
Mrs. Adams and her husband, George Adams, lived in Cory- don where he was in the barbering business before mov- ing to Chariton many years ago. Two years ago she retired from teaching in the Sewal school.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Twyla of Texas; and a sister, Evelyn Champion, of Fraser, Michigan.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday from Miley Funeral Home at Chariton.
Burial was in Corydon Cemetery.
