Geraldine "Deanie" (Carlson) Caine, 86, of W. Long Ave., died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late Edwin L. Caine. Deanie was born in DuBois on October 28, 1923, a daughter of the late John B. and Chloe P. (Averill) Carlson. She attended Sandy Twp. High School and was briefly employed with Brockway Glass as a Line Attendant. Deanie was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of DuBois. She enjoyed board games, gardening and spending time with friends and family. She was a lifelong cancer survivor. Deanie is survived by seven sons; Lester Caine and his wife, Carol of Treasure Lake, Roger Caine and his wife, Lois of Luthersburg, Gary Caine and his wife, Susan, Gordon Caine, Timothy Caine and his wife, Sharon, Bradley Caine and his wife, Beth, and Mark Caine and his fiancée, Helen Snead, all of DuBois; seven daughters, Mrs. Francis (Elaine) Freemer of Brockway, Mrs. James (Margie) Walton of Duncansville, Mrs. Joyce Poole of Houston, TX, Rev. and Mrs. Paul (Linda) Amey of Turnersville, NJ, Ms. Sharon Gardner, Mrs. Gary (Vicki) Llewellyn, and Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Carlson, all of DuBois; 42 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren; three sisters, Amy Hunter of DuBois, June Yale of Brockport, and Lucille Bailey of Miami, Fl.
