His father, Thomas, was born 1805 in Ireland as was his mother mother, Margaret, born 1818. They are possibly buried in LaPorte Cemetery in Carlisle Twp., Lorain County Ohio.
Michael appears in the 1890 Veterans Schedule as residing in Toledo, OH(Lucas County) identified as the Michael Graham who served in Company H, 103rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War.
Buried in one row with him are J.H. Graham(1845-1890), M. Patricia(1889-1890), Elizabeth(possibly Elizabethia) with no dates, and Helen Graham Snyder, 1886-1919. Unknown what relation they were although Michael did have a brother, John, born 1845.
Michael had no gravestone until a flat, gray granite, military headstone from the Veterans Administration was placed on his grave in October 2010.
