Delma Sudweeks Hackwell, 90, died February 2, 1997 n Price.

Born October 22, 1906 in Kingston, Utah, to Alonzo and Jennie Ackerman Sudweeks. She married Alfred Henry Hackwell April 7, 1927 and later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.Delma loved handy crafts, gardening, fishing, and especially traveling to visit her many grandchildren.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Glen and Dorothy Hackwell, Earl and Grace Marie Hackwell, all of California; Roy and Linda Hackwell of Helper; Doug and Monique Hackwell, Tennessee; Shannon Halamandaris of Price; Noreen Anderson of Helper; Richard Hackwell, a special grandson whom she raised. Also survived by a brother, Calvin Sudweeks, and sisters, Lola Pay, Jennie Spigarelli, Allie Beckstead, and Ethel Cook; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 7, 1997, at Fausett Mortuary in Price, where friends may call one hour prior to services or all day Thursday until 9 p.m. for those who would wish to sign the register. Burial, Price City Cemetery.
