RAEFORD - Retired Army Staff Sgt. Eugene "Old Sarge" Barbee, 83, of 204 Bugle Call Drive, died Monday, March 23, 2009. Services: Funeral, 11a.m. Friday in Wiseman Mortuary chapel in Fayetteville. Burial in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. Viewing, 2to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survived by: Children, Sharon Simmons and Michael; brother, James; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
