BRIAN S. SHARPE
Brian Standley Sharpe, 29, died Saturday, June 24 at the UCLA medical Center in Los Angeles following surgery. He is a former Montpelier resident who has been living
in Pocatello.
He was born in Logan July 16, 1948, to Charles T. and Gwen Rich Sharpe He attended school in Montpelier and received his Bachelor's degree from Idaho State University.
He married Sheila Grandy June 6,1975, in Jackson Hole, Wyo. He was an active member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife and one daughter, Tiffany, both Pocatello, his parents,
Montpelier, one brother, John, Denver, Colo ; one sister, Mrs Theodore (Barbara) Zinkevicz, Cheyenne, Wyo.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 28 with Bishop Jon W. Hyde conducting.
Giving the family prayer was Grant P. Grandy and Lois Lee Hulme played the prelude and postlude music.
The invocation was given by Stephen Rich.
"O My Father" was sung by Philip L. Hulme, Dr. Paul H. Daines, James Olsen and Max Haddock.
Bishop Hyde gave' a life sketch and the male quartet sang a medley of hymns.
Speakers were Bishop Dean Wigington and Bishop DeLoy Giles.
"The Lord's Prayer was sung by Ruth Kay Andersen accompanied by Lois Lee Hulme. John Sharpe gave the benediction.
Pallbearers were Bob Poulson, Rich Reading, Ted Zinkevicz, Scott Adams, Steve Wheeler and Dave Heaton.
The flowers were under the direction of the Third Ward Relief Society.
Matthews Mortuary was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
The dedication of the grave in the Montpelier Cemetery was given by Sherman Grandy.
