Evelyn DeVall Smith, 71, of 12 Nugget St., Sans Souci died April 7, 1987, at Greenville Memorial Hospital after several days of illness.
She was a former employee of Southern Worsted Mill and Steak and Egg restauraunt on Pendleton Street. She was a Baptist.
Surviving are her husband, W. H. "Shorty" Smith; and two sons, Stanley P Tate of Greenville and T Irvin Tate of Mobile, Ala. Services: 11am Thursday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation: 7:30-9pm Wednesday at the funeral home. The family is at the residence.
She was the daughter of the late R. L. and Etta Williamson DeVall.
