Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday in the Oliver-Linsley funeral home for Mrs. Myrtle G. Boyles, 78, formerly of 36 Young Street who died at 7:50am Wednesday in the Diamond Head Extended Care center in Woodworth where she had lived since last October.
She was born April 7, 1893 in Elkton, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Haven and came to this city 25 years ago from Negley. She was a member of the East Palestine Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witness.
Her husband, Frank H. Boyles, whom she married in 1908, died in 1950. Seven of her children preceded her in death.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Seidel, two sons, Harold J. and Donald W. and a foster-sister, Mrs. Viola Fifer, all of this city, 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Edward R. Garrod will direct the services. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wilson cemetery near Darlington.
