He was born February 2, 1920 in Lisbon a son of Frank and Myrtle Haven Boyles. He has lived in East Palestine for 32 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the European Theater of War during World War II.
He had been employed by the Milliken Brick company of Negley. A member of the First Church of Christ here he also belonged to the VFW Post No 4579 of this city.
Surviving besides his wife, Donelda Kiehl Boyles to whom he was married on March 9, 1946 are two sons and a daughter.
A brother, Donald W. resides in this city as does one sister, Mrs. Ruth Seidel. Six grandchildren remain.
Services will be at 11 AM Saturday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home where friends will be received tonight from 7 to 9. Robert Helbeck, minister of the First Church of Christ, will be in charge of services with the Rev. Robert Dyke assisting. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rogers.
