Funeral services for Winona Schendel Rude, 92, of Rosenberg will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Rev. Joel McMahon will officiate the services.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B. F. Terry Boulevard, FM 2218 and Highway 59 in Rosenberg.
She was born Sept. 19, 1907 in Richmond to Gayle Snedecor and Ruby Schmidt Snedecor, and she passed away Feb. 8, 2000 in Rosenberg. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rosenberg.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, August C. Schendel and Phillip K. Rude and her parents, Gayle and Ruby Snedecor.
She is survived by her daughter, Carlyn Rude and her husband, Jimmy, of Rosenberg; her grandchildren Jimmy L. Rude, Jr., Nancy Goldschmidt and Barbara Smith; great-grandchildren Jimmy Rude III, Stephen Goldschmidt, Tyler Goldschmidt and Bailey Smith, a brother-in-law, Horace Collins of Houston and a cousin, Inez Mize of Houston.
