Mary L. Schwitzer passed away on December 21, 2010 at Tender Heart Hospice Care in Evanston, Wyoming, at the age of 83.
She was born on March 22, 1927, in Almy, Wyoming, the daughter of Marshall L. and Sarah (Brown) Bruce. She married George William Schwitzer Jr. on January 22, 1949 in Evanston, Wyoming. Mary belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary and especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and tending to her animals.
Mary is survived by her husband, George William Schwitzer Jr. of Evanston, WY: son, Chris (Cindy) Schwitzer, of Evanston, WY. daughter, Sarah (Gary) Dean, of Evanston, EY. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Heather Hall, Chad Dean, Mackenzie Larson, and Kamryn Casady. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren. Mary is survived by a brother, Harry Bruce, of Afton, WY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Isabelle Sims, and Leath Eastman, six brothers, Skip, Red, Koski, Chet, Bird and Buff Bruce.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Crandall Funeral Home, with visitation being held one hour prior to funeral services at the Evanston Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Primary Children's Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
Arrangements are under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
