Flora May Barnes, 81, rural Jay, Oklahoma, died Thursday at Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on May 13, 1903 in Elm Springs, Arkansas.
She was a member of Indianola Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Oscar E. Barnes of the home, two daughters Ussona L. Schell, Sand Point, Idaho and Juanita L. Hewes, Santa Ana, California, one sister Sarah Barnes, Jay, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 2 PM at the Oak Chapel near Southwest City, Missouri with the Reverend D L Triest officiating. Entombment will be in Indianola Cemetery under the direction of Worley Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
