Albert Curtis, 45, of 3** E. Southside Court, died at 7:45 a.m. yesterday after he
was stricken while driving on Algonquin Parkway near 15th. Deputy Coroner Lloyd
Roemele said Curtis apparently died of a heart attack. Police were summoned by a
driver who stopped to see what was wrong after Curtis pulled to the side of the
road. Curtis had been an electrician for 20 years. Survivors include his widow,
the former Martha Van Bogaert; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Curtis; a
daughter, Mrs. Thomas Jones, and two sons, Dan and Jim Curtis. The funeral will
be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd.,
and at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 S. Third. Burial will be
in St. Michael Cemetery.
