Service Set At Winlock

WINLOCK -- Oscar E. Alcorn, 64, died suddenly Sunday at a Longview hospital. He was a resident of the Winlock-Toledo area since 1941. His home was in Winlock at the time of death.
He was born Feb. 12, 1904 in Lexington, Okla.
Survivors include his widow, Bessie, at home; four sons, Raymond, Cottage Grove, Ore.; Gene, Bremerton; Roger Alcorn, Seattle, and Carl Turner, Alabama; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Owen, Olympia; four sisters, Mrs. Artie Coffman, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Ethel Cooper and Mrs. Edna May Nagels, both Long Beach, Calif. and Mrs. Iva Lee Jennings, Torrance, Calif.; four brothers, Rev. James Alcorn, Costa Mesa, Calif., Rev. George Alcorn, McKinleyville, Calif., Rev. Carl Alcorn, Wichita Falls, Tex., and Oral Alcorn, Portland, and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m at the Winlock Assembly of God Church. Rev. James Alcorn will officiate. Interment will be in the Toledo Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.
