Harry A. Glatfelter

SPRING GROVE – Harry A. Glatfelter, 83, of 22 N. Main St., widower of Sadie Bortner Glatfelter, died Monday at 9:35 a.m. in York Hospital.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, South Main Street. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St.
Mr. Glatfelter, whose wife died in August 1975, retired in 1962 after 40 years' employment at P. H. Glatfelter Co. He was a member of the company's Quarter-Century Club, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, its Senior Citizens' group and Friendship Hose Co.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert F. Grimes, Spring Grove RD 3, and Mrs. Francis S. Hershberger, 460 Hanover Road, York; two grandsons, four great-grandchildren and three brothers, Ralph D. Gladfelter, Glen Rock RD 3; Fred Glatfelter, Glen Rock RD 2, and Charles Glatfelter Sr., Red Lion.
Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. Joseph W. Seitz, his pastor, assisted by the Rev. Morgan R. W. Andreas, pastor of Mount Zion United Church of Christ.
