Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at the Greenleafton Reformed Church, with Pastor Roger Lokker officiating. Burial will be in the Greenleafton Cemetery, rural Preston.
Pearl E. Nagel was born Feb. 14, 1917, in Carimona Township, Fillmore County, the daughter of Garrett and Cynthia (Ledeboer) Nagel. She attended Flying Cloud Country School. After school she worked on the family farm. On Sept. 9, 1939, she was married to Harold Hebrink in Cherry Grove. The couple farmed in Carimona Township in rural Preston.
Pearl was a lifelong member of the Greenleafton Reformed Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She loved gardening, sewing, baking, the outdoors, and serving lunch to family and friends.
She is survived by nieces and nephews; and also Dave, Tracie, Alex and Morgan Mensink, whom she considered as family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and two sisters.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Wednesday.
