Mrs. Cheatham died Monday morning at East Texas Medical Center in Crockett.
She was born July 30, 1911, in Houston County to James Lester and Naomi Cook Nichols.
Mrs. Cheatham was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Grapeland.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Cheatham, in 1973; grandson, Clint Cheatham; three sisters, Ruby Muskgrove, Eva Mae Grimes and Minnie Irine Nichols; and two brothers, Idas Nichols and Richard Henry Nichols.
Mrs. Cheatham is survived by her husband, Earl Cheatham of Grapeland; son, Billy Earl Cheatham of Grapeland; sisters, Edith Murdock and Oleta Wallace, both of Grapeland; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Glynn Cheatham, Terry Scott Cheatham, Alan Cheatham, Darrell Wallace, Doug McIntire, Tim Schafer and Josh Cheatham.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
