Mrs. Childress was born August 1, 1910 in Franklin County and died Sunday in a Beaumont hospital. She had lived most of her life in Nacogdoches and Angelina counties and was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Childress was preceded in death by her husband Hugh T. Childress in 1971.
