Clarence Ada, 92, of Route 2, Prospect, died on Wednesday, December 12, 1984, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville.
A native of Giles County, he was the son of the late James and Emma Carter Ada. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 14, at Bennett May Chapel, William Suddarth officiating, with burial in Elkton Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Ada of Prospect; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Blade, Elkton; one son, Sam Turner of Elkton; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Lou Criner, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Mrs. Lillian Ashworth, Nashville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
