CALDWELL — Services for Ruth Howell, 67, of 2005 Oregon Avenue, Caldwell, who died Friday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dakan Chapel by Bishop Leo Hart, Caldwell Third Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
She was born July 10, 1910, at Paris, Idaho. She married Howard T. Howell May 31, 1935, at Pocatello, where they lived for 14 years. In 1949, they moved to Caldwell. Their marriage was solemnized at the Idaho Falls Temple on July 27, 1955.
She was a member of the LDS Church and served in the Relief Society and the Mutual improvement Association.
Surviving are her husband, Caldwell; three daughters, Jackie Verteres, Caldwell, Sandra Landbeck, Aberdeen, Md., and Candy Beck, Hot Sulfur Springs, Colo.; a sister, Eva Spencer, Magma, Utah; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the chapel today from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
